Venus Amadi is a Junior History Major and Political science minor at Howard University from Imo State, Nigeria. She is impassioned by the cause for empowerment across the African Diaspora and on the African continent. As a pre-law student, she strives to diversify her professional experience to continue advancing as a critical thinker and proficient writer.  Furthermore, she aims to use her knowledge of history to deepen her understanding of the Law as it relates to its effects on Minority communities. She plans to pursue a legal career, where her knowledge and skill set can be used to assist those who face systematic inequalities within the Criminal Justice system.
